The Top 100 Richest People in India

The 2009 list of the 100 richest Indians shows that the nation’s billionaires have done much better than their counterparts elsewhere. Last year, there were 27 billionaires; this year there are 52. Though the combined wealth of the top 40 is down 35 percent from the 2007 peak, they are worth $228 billion. Last year they were worth $139 billion. And guess what? While China has 79 billionaires, the 100 richest Indians are worth $276; their Chinese counterparts are worth of $170 billion.

Nasa Releases iPhone Application

Nasa has released its own iPhone application, which allows users to view the space agency’s vast library of images and to track spacecraft in real time. 

Astronomy geeks can also keep up to date with the Nasa Twitter feeds, watch Nasa videos and do their own countdowns to the big launches.

Google Social Search Goes Live

Google's new feature allows users to include information from other social networks, such as Twitter, and blogs in their search results.
The tool – which was announced last week at the Web 2.0 conference in San Francisco – is aimed at helping Google users to discover "publicly available web content from your social circle online".
